Nothing lasts forever. Wait for her to be single and ask her out. You can do it. I believe in you.

just try to remember that what ever feelings you have she probably does too. That's why I'm always completely honest with people. You'd be surprised how often this is the case.

I'm in the same boat right now, but it's really awkward cause we've discussed it and she also likes me, but I mean she actually loves her boyfriend and she's not gonna break up with him. So she told her boyfriend and it lead to a fight so I started talking to him to try to clear things up (this is mostly over text/facebook and such). He trusts both of us not to do anything even if we're just hanging out alone, and I certainly wouldn't do anything cause I'm not a huge douche bag, but idk... it's confusing for everyone even though everyone knows exactly how everyone feels. It's kind of weird, but ya... that was me ranting about my love life. Thanks for reading.

Good sir I am in the same position as you. I've been in college for one year now and I'm not all too great at talking to girls. I've met 5 cute ones, 4 of them who couldn't help but mention their boyfriend's to me, the other one just blatantly showed disinterest. I've been single basically all my life if you don't count the month where a girl I fell in love with decided to use me. My best friend (female) tells me I'm attractive (she's taken and friendzoned) but this can't be the case from what I'm observing.
So here's to let you know that you're not alone.

Sad, maybe. But I like the cut of his jib.
It's not about what he wants, it's about what the one he likes wants. He wants her to be happy more than he wants to be happy himself.
User avatar #61 to #21 - akkere (06/18/2013) [-]
I'm not sure how less sad a life is that you're willing to torment yourself with constantly orbiting a single girl waiting for her to break up and then toss your wishes in that she picks you next.

I'm pretty sure that's the kind of situation that they coined the term "Don't hold your breath" for.

If it aint meant to be it wont happen then. If you really think she will of had that many dicks by the next time you see her, maybe she isnt worth it. Thats my advice.

>Feels good man
>Talking to other girls who I've really grown to like
>Looking like a great summer vacation filled with fine bitches is heading my way
>She messages me on Facebook
>Make nothing of it
>For the last year or so we still talk fairly frequently, but obviously nowhere near as close as we used to be.
>Sad about that, but as I said, I'm over it
>Anyways, long story short, we talk for 10 hours (not even kidding)
>Next day she shows her friends the conversation so they can see how great it is
>Tells me she wants to hang out this summer (even though we had been really good friends, we never really hung out much outside of school for whatever reason. Hard to explain)
>Stuck on her again

>A year later, my best Bro asks me for advice about his GF one night

>Had to help my Bro, gave advice how to make her happy and to settle their problems
>The whole time, I told my best friend how to make her happy, knowing that it won't be me doing it, that I won't be the one seeing her smile or hearing her laugh.

>my face (on the inside, at least) when this scenario applies to me, more or less, and yet I can't even properly justify to myself feeling jealous because I know that she's happy with the other guy, and in the end the happiness of those around me is more important to me than my personal feelings........ and so I just have to suck it up and be happy with what I've got.

User avatar #31 - drainbramage (06/17/2013) [-]
I've had a crush on this girl for the longest time (we've also been best friends for a while, not claiming friendzone because I'd rather be friends with a girl and get to know her before going out with her) and I finally grew the balls to ask her out, the conversation went like this:

"So you're single, right?"

She replied: "No actually, me and Daryl are going out, why?"

"Wait, what? Since when?"

"He asked me out yesterday"

"Huh, ok then."

I didn't feel rage, but I did feel that disappointing feeling you get when you are a single mark away from getting the next grade up on a test.

Daryl, the sly ************ .

Now, I havn't found I like/love

I am literally the same, I've loved the same girl for a long time but I know it won't go anywhere and I don't find anyone else attractive
