I already plan on joining the navy but I don't know how or if I even can stay with her

I was in the Navy. It's not going to be easy, I promise you. Don't believe anything they tell you about breaks and such. You rarely get them.

my father and one of my grandfathers were in the navy
(Note:My dad is just the guy my mom had sex with, my father is the man my mother married later who raised me)
I know that she's worth it but I don't want to put her through it
