My closest male friend and I had come to a mutual just friends agreement because of a reason that will remain unnamed. He actually somewhat put me in friendzone first. This was almost 2 years ago. In that time I've found a new love interest after my last ex, and just a few weeks ago my friend confessed to having some feelings for me.

I feel kind of bad because I go to him about my new love interest all the time like I would a normal friend. Now I feel like I have to go to some one

That's honestly his fault. Unless those feelings developed over time.

I would guess over time. But I my haunch was right. The vibe between him and I changed and it was his that changed and just things he said and asked make me question his feelings. Then he owned up to it.. so idk. Confused a bit.

I'm in a similar situation, but it's more my fault than hers.

I guess the easiest way to do this is to truly question his feelings for you. How long have you been with the other guy?

Hah, I almost don't want to know any more from him. I only want him as my friend like we had agreed to.

I'm actually not in a confirmed relationship with this new guy because I actually moved out of the city they are both in. I'm currently 3 hours away. We are both very fond of each other we just don't want to deal with long distance. It's a whole other confusing and frustrating story I'm pretty sure you don't care to hear about. BUT we've liked each other for almost a year now.

I'm pretty firm on staying just friends with the other one. **** happens.

I am trying to not let it bother me. I just feel kind of guilty when I can sense the jealousy in our conversations. He's still one of my closest friends and I'll continue to go to him. I just hope it doesn't get to the point to where I feel I can't go to him at all with my boy troubles.

He also isn't blaming me for anything, and I can't blame him. I'd like to think I'm pretty likable unfortunately likable for those I don't exactly want.

Boys are weird sometimes. Haha :P

Well, tell me the other story if it'll make you feel any better

but reading that last sentence really gets me. I think about everything I do for a little love and affection gets me no where and..well.. **** happens. But anyway, yea if it makes you feel any better you can tell me your story
