**** like this pisses me eff. My grandfather is a German immigrant who came to the USA to escape the ridicule and absolute hatred fer him in his home town in Germany. Yes he was apart ofthe
German army but he was a good man. It' s a really sad story about his death actually and because i' m feeling nostalgic i' ll give a quick summary green text. I know this isn' t the place to post a story like this but i' m
going to anyways-
yin hospital visiting dying grandpa
s out of his mind en pain meds
Stalking about his time in WWY
Knever heard my grandfather talk about WWY
Delever seen him cry
s doing both
Slobbing like a child
calms down a bit
rd can faintly here him mumbling to me in German (N translate the best I can)
HI den' t want to to hell anen. I didn' t want to guard all these people. I didn' t want to starve them. to death. I didn' t want to burn their badies in the evens- I only did what I had to do. Hitler promised us
the world. He betrayed his people. He betrayed us-"
**** just thinking about it again is making me tear up- this happened a few years ago- do you think if someone is truly, honestly sorry fer what he' s done then he can still get into heaven? I like to believe he' s
there now, he was ageed man,

If there is an afterlife, and entry is decided on being caring and decent alone, then there is every chance he has passed the test. After all being involved in the implementation of a genocide is only a small part of his life - and was a chapter acted out under no small pressure.

In short whatever guilt a regular soldier of the wermacht had, it was spread between the millions that played a part. There are so many claims regarding the supernatural and so little evidence - I fail to see any reason to believe. But I understand why a person might want to believe.
