A) It's not a gay show, as that would imply it contained homosexuality or caused it.

I can't seem to get through to you. I once again do not understand how this makes me a child. If you take a look at the "real world" you've mentioned, you would see that it is full of people insulting others. Commercials for big brand names slander others as a huge part of their advertisement. Politicians use insults to cast doubt upon the campaign of their opposition. Both of which do exactly the same as I have done, yet are they seen as "acting like a child"? No. That's just common and wait a minute... expected.
Another example could be professional sports. Players constantly insult people on other teams. Commedians use insults to mock and create humor about other people. Insults are a huge part of this modern world and yes, a good majority of it stems from a difference of opinion or from liking other things.

Do I accept this fact that not everyone shares the same opinion as me? Of course I do. It would be incredibly ignorant not to. If everyone didn't accept that fact the world wouldn't have very many arguments at all because everyone would assume their likes and interests are shared on a global scale. Do I respect it? When he tried to present evidence, they ignored it and locked him away because it challenged what they thought. E.g. a metal gear solid reference through a large portion of a season two episode.

You're correct in a couple things, however I didn't reject any logic whatsoever. I'll give you a situation to better understand what I'm talking about:

If you're in a bar and an important update flashes up on the TV that you know nothing about, you would probably ask what the update meant. If two people each described the news story, then stated their opinions but not their reasons for them, there would be no logical way to side with one over the other. So with the absence of logic from a situation there is no logic to reject.

As for Galileo and homosexuality, they are just parallels, the homosexuality is actually quite a good one because of how people reacted to it back then, namely thinking it was just a stupid choice some people were making. However, it grew to be known as something more. This pony stuff isn't a passing fad, it's a committed fandom, and even if it does eventually pass with the show, people will still like the show, and there's no reason people should be that disrespectful towards the fans. Think about it this way, every day new content is being uploaded with thousands of thumbs worth making it to front page each day, so evidently there are still quite a few people who are still enjoying the site.
Anyway, calling us "faggots" and "gay" isn't going to get you anywhere, it's not true, so why should we pay attention to it. Yes the show was originally for little girls, but we can watch it if we want. I honestly think that a lot of the hate for us comes from people like you who feel their masculinity is somehow threatened by our activities, which you perceive as 'less manly'.
