or how about we actually look for a cure, not some half-ass "treatment" that nearly killes the person who needs it.

Your use of "we" is both stupid and hypocritical; first off, there are people looking for treatments, but not likely the people you see actively implementing chemo. Second, I don't know what the fuck you're doing saying "we" since all you're doing is sitting on your fat sanctimonious ass browsing FunnyJunk and demanding improved cancer research.

There is a much more effective cure to many types of cancer called Anti NeoPlastons, a biological agent that the body naturally produces to fight off cancer, but often to no avail.

A wonderful doctor named Dr. Chotkowski or something like that found out about these agents while working in Russia as a soviet doctor dedicated to finding a cure to cancer(?) It took him many years to figure out exactly what they did and how they were produced but after so many years and the dissolution of the Soviet Union he went to America to further study his findings and eventually found out how synthesize the agent.

After many years of legal battles with the FDA he was finally permitted to take in a choice few cancer sufferers and use his research to treat them. He got a few patients every year (Mostly brain cancer victims, because brain cancer is what he specialized in) and the results from his tests were astonishing.

Patients he treated had no chances of dying from his treatment because it consists of agents naturally produced by the human body. It was also, depending on the person he was treating and their cancer, anywhere from 10-35% more effective at treating their ills.

However the FDA never bothered to patent or support his treatment, in fact they went to incredible lengths to make sure his work was never heard of. They raided the facility where he worked on 5 occasions, seizing data results and destroying documents. He pleaded with the director of the FDA at that time to explain his actions and was openly mocked by him.

he finally decided to take his debate to court and tried to fight for approval of his treatment. Over twenty patients he treated and/or their families showed up to vouch for him even after they were all threatened by the FDA with whatever.

After some years of battling the FDA he finally lost, the hearing never being widely publicized outside of the area where they were taking place and the FDA took his invention as their own. Never to let anyone use it

His name is Stanislav Burzynski, you weren't even remotely close. Nice sob story though.

Only Burzynski's therapy has been disproven moreso than it has been proven.

First off, the "anti-neoplastons" are a substance that he isolated from human urine, and attempts to replicate successful results from these substances by the National Cancer Institute, the Japanese National Cancer Institute and Sigma-Tau Pharmaceuticals all reportedly failed.

Burzy was made famous in 1988 for four "miracle" patients that was claimed to have survived a supposed incurable cancer thanks to his method. Guess what? It was bullshit, and Inside Edition did a followup that proved as such.
'In 1992, "Inside Edition" reported that two of the four patients had died and a third was having a recurrence of her cancer. (The fourth patient had bladder cancer, which has a good prognosis.) The widow of one of Raphael's guests stated that her husband and five others from the same city had sought treatment after learning about Burzynski from a television broadcast -- and that all had died of their disease. In 1995, a federal grand jury indicted Burzynski for mail fraud and marketing an unapproved drug. The indictment charged that he had billed insurance companies using procedure codes for chemotherapy, even though his treatment was not chemotherapy. He was tried in 1997 but not convicted.' ''
