No, his totem is the wedding ring, only he knows how much it weighs and how it feels.

He is using deception (pun intended) to make people think it is his totem. And he is sentimental about his wife's totem.

Nolan has said that the wobble isn't meant as a giveaway, it's supposed to be left open to interpretation. That's just how the movie shows that it could be either limbo or reality.

Here's one of the theories.
The other theory is that the top isn't really his totem, and that his real totem is his wedding ring.
Not to mention, a totem lets you know whether or not you're "in someone else's dream," not necessarily whether or not you're awake.

Only once? Now that I think about it, Saito distracted him from looking at the totem in one scene and we never actually saw if it fell over.

Only once from what I remember, he also drops it on the floor after waking in a panic and never tried to spin it again.

Let me tell you, that last scene added so much more depth to the movie. If we had seen it fall over we would've known Cobb's fate. The mystery makes the movie so much more memorable, and it was already great to begin with.

The ending for the film was a great way to end it since it gives that sense of mystery, but when you look at it closely there are other parts where it could switch between dream and reality without us knowing.

Whether they were intended or just mistakes is an entirely different matter

Well, Some people noticed something else about the totems, during the movie they said the totem would only work for the person it belonged to and the spinning top belonged to his wife, so it wouldn't work for him, I think his wedding ring is his totem since he is only wearing it when in reality which means the ending is also reality.

Yeah I've heard that a number of times but I haven't watched the film for a while so I haven't checked, fact he explains that in reality the top won't fall kinda voids the point of a totem since he explains only 1 person should know its weight etc..
