Skyward Sword was a big deal for the creators and stuff. Since it was the 25th anniversary of the Legend of Zelda, they wanted it to be big, so they made Skyward Sword, which is (according to an interview with Shigeru Miyamoto, the creator of the Legend of Zelda for Official Nintendo Magazine) the very first one of the storyline. So the comic is showing that link dying at the end of skyward sword would take him to his next life (reincarnation, which is brought up, or at least hinted at, quite a bit in the games, especially Skyward Sword) which his next life would be the Ocarina of Time.

It's explained at the end of Skyward Sword. I don't want to spoil the ending, tho. If you want to know, you can google the ending of Skyward Sword and see for yourself then.

Because no one knows the "exact" time-line of the Zelda series, this comic is figuring that when he died (in the comic above) that he is then reborn inside of The Ocarina Of Time somehow
