The first time she got really serious, really fast. I freaked out. Told myself some things that weren't true. I asked her she says its nothing to do with me any more, there was a time when she said she couldnt trust me just yet, that time is passed. I took the advice of croc and asked exactly what the issue is, she said shes been in and out of relationships most of her life, she wants to do things for herself for once. Don't know if that makes it better or worse


I have money but that doesn't matter, she was always genuinely happy whenever I brought flowers. I'm 20 and shes 19 lol, we aren't some little kids have no fear.

I think for my own sanity I will continue to hang out with her but stop the love stuff. Just go see a movie or go for dinner or something. She said I'm the only guy and I believe her. Still scared shitless though. I've got a year till I have to leave for basic, should be plenty of time...

Good luck with the relationship man, whichever way it goes. Even if you end up as just friends, I'd value that over losing someone special. Being patient might just do it.
