I think if the comic were to end at them hugging it would have been a better "feels" comic, i personally think the last two pieces of text were unnecessary and stupid.

The comic was actually done on world events, where an Australian girl married a prince from Denmark. Apparently the prince cried during the event, and since it was a wedding it was based on, this seemed better
