im confused now though, not because of this but like in general. what about hans and leias other kids? they already had one that turned to the darkside why the **** did they have to make another up? and what about lukes kid ben. are there two bens now? or is all that **** just out of the door
when disney bought starwars, they declared everything but the movies to be non-canon. i say **** disney, theyre non-canon. the EU stuff is far ebtter than anything Disney will ever do
I didn't really care until I started watching The Clone Wars, and I thought of my favorite Star Wars games, Republic Commando and Battlefront 2.
Here's the way I see it, if the stories I care about don't conflict with the **** story you intend to write Disney, then it's still canon to me ******** .
According to Wookiepedia, anything outside of the movies, is considered Legends content, or the Expanded Universe as it's usually called. This seems to include the games and the Clone Wars.
Also on Wookiepedia, there is an editor's note "which I first saw on articles of Clone Wars episodes" stating that the article in question is no longer canon and must be deleted by an editor (which I hope to God nobody actually does, they'd be erasing so much information).
Clone Wars, Rebels and any EU after April 2014 is canon*. If it's considered 'Legends' it's non-canon. Some Legends stories will be integrated with the new canon.
Flashy hair man was big friend with father of babby
Babby grows up, kills own father while flashy hair man watches
Flashy hair man is enraged, shoots at (Now grown up) babby
The guy being (Ren) shot is the baby in the first panel.
Chewie (the hairy guy) holds the baby with love and compassion.
In the movie, Ren kills his father in front of Chewie. That makes him very angry, here's the reason to the shooting. If you go see the movie, I suggest you to do it, that a really good scene.
Wait sorry, I misunderstood. Flashy hair man is black hair man of last pane? And big hair holds babby? Then read my first comment again, but change Flashy hair to big hair. Big sorry.
she died after giving birth, but not as a result of it.
I just looked it up, it said she "lost the will to live" because of Anakin's turn to the dark side, so I guess I wasn't quite right (that is a ******** explanation though).
Except the part where he did. He choked the life out of her so she was almost dead, and then died during childbirth because she was weakened (And some people speculate Palps was funneling her life energy into Vader during his surgery.)
"Medically, she's completely healthy. For reasons we can't explain, we're losing her"
Yes, that sounds exactly like choked to death and dies from complications in child birth... before they even begin the operation
Did he ever fire it in the old movies? Those are the only canon sources anymore besides a few comics, and in none of them show multiple, or green bolts from the bowcaster
Does it bother anyone else that the text is reversed? Not the letters itself - but how Han introduces Chewie. It'd have more impact if the "He won't hurt you" part is... when he's ******* shooting Ben.
Everyone does realise that Chewbacca is going to die in either the eighth or ninth movie right? I am not prepared for it but it will happen because disney want it to focus on the new cast not the old.
That is true but what I mean is they will want to focus on the younger and new characters so will dramatically have the older ones die/ not play a large part.
Disney knows that Chewie is a fan favorite from the classic trilogy, and he has little reason plot-wise for them to kill him off. Plus, unlike Han, Chewie's actor doesn't matter as much. I see him staying as part of a way to bridge the gap between old and new fans.
Michael Arndt developed Kylo Ren as a convincing means to have Han and Leia separate after Return of the Jedi. However, it was not decided to kill off the character until J.J. Abrams felt, "'What is Han doing in this movie?' If we’re not going to have something important and irreversible happen to him, then he kind of feels like luggage. He feels like this great, sexy piece of luggage you have in your movie. But he's not really evolving. He's not really pushing the story forward." Abrams decided killing off Han meant the character's son had a chance of becoming a worthy successor to Darth Vader.
We've still got Chewie, Luke, Leia, R2D2, and C3PO, aka most of the original cast. Some of them will probably die in the next two movies but they don't have to kill all of them off. The nonhuman characters in particular don't have to die, since we don't have to worry about the actors getting too old. They can focus on the new cast while still keeping some of the veterans around as supporting characters.
I'd be interested in seeing Chewbacca doing stuff independently from Han for once. Develop his character a bit more.
