>No more running/jumping
>Still tries to play
>Suddenly develops cancer in front toe
>Choice was to amputate before metastasis, relatively safe procedure
>No food for one night because of surgery
>Go to vet
>Bo really wants to leave
>Veterenarian tells me to leave so she would walk into operating room
>Tell Bo I'll be back soon
>She sits at front door until I finally drive away, I see her slowly slink into the operating room
>Go to costco to buy biggest roast chicken so she could feast when she recovers
>Come back to pick her up
>She died during the surgery
>Never got to eat the chicken
>Vet says was rare case, her heart gave out before she stopped breathing
>River of tears and guilt when my dog died of a broken heart cause I left her at the vet
>Give her one last hug and told her I came back, left the chicken by her side
