well let me tell you guys something...if a girl you know meets someone and she says it's just a friend...IT'S FUCKING BULLSHIT!
I MEAN C'MON!..how many stories have you guys herd of a girl saying "he is just a friend" and ends up banging him.
i had 13 girls in my class who told me "he is just a friend" and then ended up dating him.
basically next time this happens to you,don't waist you'r time with her...she is saying that he is just a friend so she can have you and get what she wants from you just a bi longer before she dumps you for him

I've actually been through something really similar dude. The pain does fade. You need to find someone to talk to though. I'm not saying a therapist if you don't want to, but you need to find someone you can always call. If you don't have someone pm me and you can call or text me

the first couple of lines are very similar to me, except mine happened just last week to be honest. here's my story:
>be 16
>at best friends birthday party
>meet his cousin, fall for her incredibly hard
>she rejects me, and we just stay friends, i accept because i'm 16, there will be more out there, and she lived a good distance away
>i was wrong, cant get her out of my head, cant date other people because it doesnt feel right,
>fast forward 2 years, she's got some douchebag bf hitting her, enter rage mode, tell him if he ever lays a hand on her again, they'd have to pull me off him
>cocky fucker hits her again, spend the night in jail and he spends a week in the hospital
>she breaks up with him, decides she wants to date me, regardless of distance, because i've been there for her when she needs me and i seem like a nice guy
>FUCKING WIN
>fast forward another 3 years, she's working full time, going to college full time, and helping her parents go through bankruptcy and paying bills, stress gets to her
>decides she doesnt want to be with me any more, thinks i took her for granted, didnt have a good future, standard stress related bullshit
>cant say anything, too stunned/upset, and extremely angry so i keep my mouth shut, thinking it would be better to talk after i calmed down
>she takes this as me not caring and hangs up and refused to talk to me
>cry myself to sleep 3 nights in a row, have stress induced illnesses ( stomach pains, sleep deprivation, migraines)
>go to college, find out that i owe 300 dollars, and cannot participate in classes, at the school because my fafsa got cutbecause a teacher never registered me for one of my classes, i'm scraping by with bills as it is having no automobile insurance, cell phone, or license plates, i still barely monthly debts that 4 of my former friends layed on me , amounts to about 12k, signed as a guarantor for their college incase they needed some help, instead they bailed on college and left me to pay contracts out

She did the same to the guy who she was dating before. I bet she does the same to the new guy, hell, maybe with you again. Regardless, sorry for your loss OP.

Start beasting the gym my friend, I find all my anger melts away with exercise and physical team sports. But that's just me.

After this experience, you've learned you can not be so dependent on others. No matter who it is to you, no matter what you've been through with each other, the chances of you two staying close are extremely slim. No matter who it is. Always remember to watch for yourself first or you're gonna get burned.

Hard lesson to learn, but an important one to learn in life unfortunately. What she'll do for you, she'll do to you, if she cheats on her boyfriend to be with you, or (in this case) leaves her boyfriend to be with you, what's going to stop her from doing the same thing to you? Sorry you had to learn it the hard way.
