Dog

Today my 14 year old dog just lay on the couch, eyes shut.
he just stayed there for an hour.
i know he is getting old, but i have had him for most of my life.
he isn't what he used to be.

My mum went in hospital 5 weeks ago,
I visit her almost everyday, and when we return he comes running to the door looking for her.
He loved her like she is his own mother.
He cries when he gets alone after we come back.
I dont know if he is going to see her again.
But I hope he does...
