For anyone who doesn't get it. The price on the speederbike, 1138 is an easter egg number referencing one of Lucas' older films. This number appears many, many times in the Star Wars universe from the movies to the books.

He actually imprisoned her before learning she was his daughter, and after he learned he immediately ordered any torture or interrogation of her to cease, and considering he's still a Sith Lord who lives in constant pain, agony, and hatred, cutting off a hand and offering mercy IS being 'good' considering he would have just obliterated him if it was anyone else.

He knew Luke was his son by then because he had a conversation with Palpatine about it, but if he had known Leia was his offspring too he would have taken her with him on Bespin and tried to corrupt her, just like he tried with Luke.
In fact, in Return of the Jedi when he reads Luke's thoughts is the first time he realizes he has a daughter, and Vader dies shortly after that. I know you're just the messenger reading from Wookipedia, I'm just calling absolute BS on that factoid though. There is no place in the timeline that he would have known about her relationship to him while she was detained.
