the way I look at it, she doesn't want you to save her. she only want you as a witness... yea some people do that... I don't know why, but I guess they like it because the feeling is somewhat mutual like for instance, sacrificing yourself to save others and no one knows about it but a single person.. you sir might be that one person. do you know what I mean? I've been in your place before.

I ended up leaving her. she's fine now, something happened and she finally snaps out of it... maybe if you really want to help her, what you want to do first is discard all the feelings you have for her, help her as a friend... not as someone who you'll look forward to being with. that way you'll have the chance to save her and because you have no feelings for her (you're only doing it for her as a friend) if anything happen, she won't be able to hurt you. it won't be easy but maybe that's what I would do... I'll move on and help her as a friend instead.
