Al-Qaeda attacked the world trade center because they did not like the capitalist ideal of excess. So they killed innocents to show us that owning too much or being rich is wrong. The attack on the pentegon was to show they can strike our military, and the almost attack on washington was to attack out leadership.

We attacked Iraq to dismantle an unstable leader who was very open about his desire to acquire nuclear weapons and was waging a genocidal war against an ethnic group. One of my friends cousins died in an Iraqi death squad attack. They found his body being clutched in the hands of his mother surrounded by other friends and family in a pit they dug in their house. They died a slow, deliberate death from nerve toxins.
THAT is what we went into the middle east to get rid of, and we did get rid of it. Now i dont so much agree with the continued occupation, its pretty much inarguable that we hold the moral high ground. So your label of "terrorist" is pretty much invalid

You do know that terrorists compose a VERY small percentage of the Muslim population correct? It seems to me like you're labeling all Muslims as terrorists.

I never said anything about any sort of religion at all. In fact, the only reference even made indirectly to a religion is that of Sharia law. I only said the leaders and governments were flawed.

The Taliban was overthrown about one month after the 9/11 attacks. So Im pretty sure the only reason we were there wasnt just to overthrow the government and establish a new one.

You just cant leave a power vacuum. The first time we did that was WW1, and that lead to WW2. So look at what we did after WW2, we occupied Germany well into the late 50's. Japan as well, we still have A huge Marine base on Okinawa we established there years ago. While i do partially agree with you that the occupation shouldve ended by now, i really dont know what the new government is like so i cant really say for certain that if we left it would be stable

Around 3,000 people died in 9/11.

Around 15,00 civilians died when we bombed Pakistan.

Only 1500 died.. when 3000 of us died. We did less damage
