Having higher Intelligence gives you more XP, and you can use drugs to push your stats over 10 now. With some good gear (Institute Lab Coat, glasses and an Ushanka hat) Night Person, Wine, and some Mentats, you can get your Int up to 24. Turn in a quest and watch that sweet sweet EXP roll in.
That's nothing, 24 int and maxed idiot savant means 5x xp, plus piper's perk gives you double, since turning in quests counts as talking. I went from level 50 to 53 by telling a guy I killed some molerats.
Actually, that's not quite true. Maxing your relationship with piper gives you double XP for turning in quests and discovering new locations, and that's it. The nice part though, is that you don't need to have her with you.
Also, from one Funnyjunker to another, Macready's perk is glitched, as of 12/20/15. While it says that it gives you a +20% chance to hit a target's head in VATS, it's bugged and gives you +200% chance, making it the most broken perk in the game by far. Have fun.
I knew about Macready's, and the same source that told me about macready's perk being glitched told me that piper's perk stacked if you get it, dismiss her, then pick her back up, doing stuff will give more than the usual double.
Holy **** , I'm on 38 and I need to do at least 5 quests to level up, and you leveled up from 50 to 53 by just 1 quest. I already have gift of the gab but I only now started to experiments with drugs and alcohol to increase stats (mainly whiskey when I'm carrying too much). I need to experiment with this intelligence stuff. Got any tips?
Nope, Idiot Savant works out starting at 12% chance to proc at 1 INT, then drops by either 1 or 2% per INT point, you can't get it to proc past a certain level.
Screw addictol. Radscorpion Omlettes (Radscorpion Egg + Pure Water) does the same thing but is cheaper and easier to get (Half of all radscorpions drop an egg, and they spawn in groups of 3 in the Glowing Sea)
Posted this exact same vid months ago, except I titled it "When you put points into everything". Back when there were things to put points into. It was a less simple time.
How do you guys feel about the new level up system? I miss all the skill checks, but it's fun being a jack of all trades and master of all.
I wish they never took the route they did with the dialogue options. They don't mean jack **** anymore, and your skills never come into play like they did in New Vegas. Now it's like Telltale's games, except worse.
It's a classic case of a company dumming down their franchise to cater to the casual market. Not necessarily a bad thing, but it can alienate some fans who like the older style of leveling up.
I named Shaun's wazer wifle "On the Fridge," like a little kid's drawing. "The Treasure of Sanctuary Hills" (a reference to the treasure of Jamaica Plain) wouldn't fit.
I found a Hunter's Hunting Rifle on a Legendary Synth. I gave it the best 308 reciever, wood stock, long barrel and a scope and I named it "I'm Comin' Bambi"
being a jack of all trades kinda ruins replayability, because you can do all the skills at the same time there's no point in replaying the game with a different build.
I disagree, to an extent. I feel the level cap far exceeds everything there is to do if you aren't grinding. I am almost level 92 with most of the map discovered, though I still have a bit to go. So really, it makes sense to replay and try out using different perks earlier rather than later to try different play styles, still. I think when DLC comes out you will be mostly right, because the length of stuff to do and the level cap will be sort of the same. But at the same time I see where you're coming from.
>using pipe revolver past early game
>not saving it's .45 for the Overseer's Guardian
It's like you want to be terrible at this game.Keep on playing like this with your ******** ,you probably play on very easy you scrub go on survival and git gud git gud
I don't even use power armour on that character.
Ballistic weave is just ****** . Throw that **** on some under armour, one of the few hats it works on, then get some max upgraded heavy armour.
From there its just a blur of blood, baseball sounds and drugs.
Ah. See I also did 10 INT for the exp bonus, as well as getting double usage of fusion cores, plus another 10% with the bobblehead, so I get 210% off of a fusion core. Then with the 10 STR I got the upgrades for power armor charging, so if I see feral ghouls/raiders I don't actually have to fight them, I can just sprint.
Mine has one intelligence, all for that delicious Idiot Savant.
I had that trigger on the last main quest on another character. Three levels and almost 10K experience.
The first rank is 3x XP, and the second is 5x. The third still grants 5x, although sometimes it will activate and, instead of giving a 5x bonus, give a 3x bonus for every kill you make for a short period of time. (60 seconds I think?)
Apparently, it triggers about 11% of the time at 1 intelligence and that chance drops by 1% for every point, down to 1% for 11 intelligence and above.
It might be better to just take rank 2 if you have too much intelligence, so on the rare occasion it triggers on a quest, you'll get a guaranteed 5x instead of the kill bonus triggering instead.
Here's 3 possibilities for how my encounters with them go:
1.See one from far away, waste it easily with Proctor Teagan's plasma rifle or the overseer's guardian.
2.Notice one to close to shoot, panic and sprint away while he detonates on my companion.
3. Hear beeping, try to figure out where it is and sprint right into the suicider, which sends bits of my level 75 character everywhere just as they did when I was level 6.
There's a place, it's the Coast Guard place I'm pretty sure near the left of the map. I saw one. Killed it. Heard beeping from another one, not too close but close enough for me to start looking. Didn't see **** . Didn't even hear it getting closer before it was on my ass and my game was reloading.
Oh, yeah. That place was full of the ******* , just like that one hospital with like 3 of them, and that area by what I think is supposed to be the housing projects with ~5.
When guys who think they're the master race blow themselves up for no reason.
Like, seriously, what the **** ? Am I really the first person that every suicider has tried to blow up with his ******* nuclear football dildo? How are they even still alive for me to find them? Is this literally the first fight that suicider has ever been in?
with the way they are dressed and all i thought to my self that suiciders did something to piss off all other super mutants and that this is some form to restore there "honor" or what ever the hell super mutants have.
I hear that on survival mode, not only are you handicapped but the enemies actually are too. I heard they also take extra damage, not just you. Confirm?
This game is utter trash and should be deleted Reaver-kun's game is
so much better and worth playing it has an ACTUAL STORY unlike
that stupid bethesda ******** .
did you pick the worst character from the worst Fable game just to piss people off, or is this a normal themed account ot annoy people? stephen fry is the worst voice actor ever
Simply put, it's not nearly as good as previous games, or some other RPGs.
I'm personally fine with the story, but certain gameplay aspects make it so meh.
**brozetop used "*roll picture*"** **brozetop rolled image** So great you guys know this experience, i don't it may have to do with not having the game
