There's also some leg armor called the Freefall Armor that lets you fall from any height in the game without fall damage. The stuff's a bitch to get, though, and you don't get the kickass ground pound effect that you get with Power Armor. Not to mention the fact that you'll probably be running around in the top tier of Power Armor by the time you get it anyway.
The idea that I can kill people, maybe even multiple people, while dropping from a tall structure wearing my armour makes me want to build a settlement who has giant walls and no way to enter besides jetpack/vertibird.
And when I'm attacked, to just repeatedly drop on them till death.
yes. even without armored plating, you take absolutely no fall damage while in a power armor frame. If you have armor on the frame, you deal damage. One of the possible upgrades for legs is to widen the cone of damage when you drop
No, my point is, how they **** haven't they blown up already. I mean they blow up like popcorn in the microwave when I play. How are there any left that haven't blown up.
For real, though, Fallout 4 has its flaws, but few games can have a fight this badass early on and not feel like boring **** through the rest, this part was ******* masterfully done.
Whats good about him? I havent used him yet because every time I remember he wants me too pay at least 200 caps for his ******* majesty's company I laugh and keep one of the other (i.e. all) free companions.
he's supposed to give +20% chance for a head-shot in vats, but instead he gives +2000% chance, so you can always head-shot from any distance with 95% accuracy at all times.
He's the most OP ************ in the game, and I honestly kinda hope he gets patched soon. I sorta need an excuse to pick up the sniper perks, and there's no ******* reason for me to do it now.
dont click if u dont want spoilers
but i need help with the game if someone can help me So i decided to side with the minutemen because in my head I felt as thought hey were the only group who actually fought for the greater good. Anyways, I am really starting to hate Preston Garvey. He gives off such a douche-bag vibe.
Anyways, I really disliked how I didn't have a choice to bomb the institute or not. It was mostly just like "okay we made it click the button or the game wont progress." I started to change my mind as we went on through the institute. I wasn't really sure how to tell Sturges I DIDN'T want to take down the institute in the first place. Like the moment I walked up to him the dialogue started and gave me no choice...
No, I tried 4 times, and its streamlined to kill the railroad. If you want to talk to procter ingrim about liberty prime, he will always cock-block you
I've finished the game and I can verify that you have: 3 possibilities
>Join the brotherhood of steel, fix liberty prime, kill the railroad and nuke the institute
Prize: Jet pack for suit
>Join the Institute, kill the BoS and the railroad, no nukes
Prize: Nothing
>Join the railroad (IMO is the better of the three) kill the BoS and nuke the institute
Prize: the Rail Rifle, Final Judgement and Experiment 18-A (you buy it at the institute)
But what about the jet pack? You can craft it, no biggie.
The Rail Rifle is given to you if you side with the railroad, it shoots spikes with a damadge of 209 (pretty good)
Final Judgement is once you kill Maxton, hes a dick, and the gun shoots lasers like crazy, also its legendary.
And the Experiment 18-A is a plasma rifle with better reload and fire rates, its great.
ALSO the Railroad will give you one of the best weapons in the game: the Gauss Rifle with damage of 192, its a beauty. Google it, its the ****
And **** the minutemen, they dont have jack **** .
Well if that doesn't convince you, I don't know what will.
Hope this was helpfull ;)
If you go with the brotherhood there is a legendary plasma rifle and 2 pieces of legendary T-60 armor that become available in the shop after the main quest and a legendary T-60 helmet you get through a side quest from them. You get way more than just the jetpack.
You can purchase a full T-60 Power Armour set from Rowdy (a vendor) at the atoms cat garage, also X-01 > T-60. But that legendary features come with the power armour?
Yeah, normal T-60 is easy to get but legendary power armor is pretty rare. Visionary's Helm and Honor (Leg) both give increased action point refresh speed and Vengeance (Leg) reflects 10% melee damage back at attackers. You also get the Sentinel's Plasmacaster which does double damage to targets at full health.
They're great. I felt bad for killing them twice in my playthrough, just to see the outcome.
You even get decon as a companion, since he's a spy, he always change clothes xD
see i originally was going to join BoS, but I really disliked what they stood for/the way the execute it. Plus, the jet pack and flying the jet thing, sorry forgot the name, didnt matter much to me. They would just shoot up the commonwealth and kill **** . So I decided to blow up their airship with the minutemen.
God I love jumping off of places with my power armor especially when you get to one of those skyscrapers and you happen to land close to some raiders
It was weird when I jumped off the huge tower where you blow up the institute from and suddenly I landed in Goodneighbor
It's funny because that is actually why the deathclaw attacked. If you talk to the foresight chem lady before heading out in the power armor she says something along the line of something big and angry coming because of the noise of the fight outside.
