Is it comfortable to wear? I know a lot of people like to customize Converse but those are hell to wear when you're carrying a 30 pound backpack.

They're called Vans, but they may not actually be the Vans brand. You can find shoes like that at Walmart for around ten dollars. Also, I don't know what you mean, I've worn no other shoe but converse since early in high school and my feet have always been fine. I prefer them, they feel like being barefoot but with protection against the elements.

I love converse and own several pairs, but they're a bitch to wear in the winter. They don't protect your feet from the cold at all whatsoever. And they're no good for exercise.

It's winter now and I still wear mine. I also go to the gym all the time and run in them as well as play basketball/ultimate frisbee. They are my all time favorite shoe.

I dunno. I prefer regular running shoes for when I go to the gym and for running. I used to only wear Converse for a couple of years, but I've been getting out of that habit. It's a nice change to have an arch in my shoe once in a while. And for my shoe to not be made solely of canvas.

I've tried that, I really don't like having an arch in my shoe. It's not because I'm flat footed, I just like to feel like I'm just standing on the ground rather than wearing shoes. Unfortunately the public requires shoes of me.

I'm flat footed, so it hurts pretty bad when I wear converse.

Maybe it's because I carry heave books and the thin sole doesn't really cushion my foot, or maybe it's because I'm used to more support for my foot (I wear ReeZigs often, ugly as **** but so comfy)

Oh and no, Vans are no more comfortable to wear than Converse. They're both flat soled.

They are quite uncomfortable, when you walk over a stone you feel it a lot due to the sole being so thin and walking up a gravel path is like walking on legos barefoot, also when they get wet you're pretty much screwed.

I bought some plain vans style shoes for £3, and bought some sharpies and drew the design on them, that's why they're a little bit off, cos I did it free hand.

That's smart, SO much easier than doing that through digital media. I recommend you get Prisma Color Double sided markers. They are expensive but they look AMAZING! Like oh god so good. I got the 24 pack for Christmas. drawings feel so much more dimensional. And since you did that free hand (which looks amerzing) you have so much more potential in this sort of thing bro. i got way off topic lol. anyway, thanks for the answer :D

Wow thanks for the compliment! And i'll have a look into them, i'm always doing random **** with sharpies and paint so if there's something better than them then it could just be what I need :)

Do you have a DeviantArt account? If not you should get one! Though i am ashamed to say that despite the fact i have 3 sketchbooks worth of drawings, not a single one made it to my DA account. What with school and everything always so busy, lol. I can not seem to connect to their site at the moment (getting http error 503). If you scroll down there is a full list of all the marker packs they sell.

I've never actually thought about it, always thought it was for alternative kinds of art, most of the stuff I do in't really different, and you can find things similar on the internet lol. A lot of things I've done are just ways to get more expensive pieces of (simple) art for cheap and having the fun of doing it myself haha. Those pens are very cheap compared to what I just saw on google :)

Well it all depends, if it's someone else's work you can always give them the credit in the desc and simply title it "remake" or "redo" or whatever, or go off on your own, inspired by certain things. fan art, redraws, 30 minute challenges, literally infinite possibilities to choose.
