I named my character Tony Stark. I have over 25 power armors, 3 full T51, to T45, 4 T60, 5 X-01, and 2 Raider, along with several partials Every time I find a suit of power armor in the Commonwealth, I take it back home.
Yeah, but how can you take them and place them at your home? On PC btw.

Theres an exploit where you can infinitely sell a vendor ammo they alrdy have for unlimited caps and items. Buy all of one ammo type. Sell ONE back. Now sell the rest. You should be left with 1 bullet and can infinitely sell it.
Arturo in diamond city and kleo in goodneighbor both have frames to purchase. As well as handfulls of power cores. Do the exploit, grab the suit and cores, fast travel to your home base, exit armor, fast travel back, wait 24hrs if needed, repeat.

You can even do 2 suits at a time, because you can tell your followers to get in a suit, then just talk to them and tell them to get out when you're back home.

just steal some from raiders by stealing their fusion cores. Or in some cases the raider will go out of his power armor before blowing up if you shoot his fusion core. After that you'd need to setownership it after you have it, because it will say "STEAL" if you don't use a console command, even though it is technically yours now
They can survive it sometimes, but it is a powerful explosion so you'll usually have to make it your opening move.

you can take it to one of your settlements and just leave them there. if you want them in some kind of order like in the picture you need to go into workshop mode, go to the crafting section and place a power armour rack then get out of your power armour as close to the rack as possible, press craft on it and itll be stored there.
Then you don't know how to roleplay, because I'm having a blast just going around and acting in-character

As much as I hate to admit it you are right. It is a shooter now. Still a great game though. Not as great as Fallout 3 but it's damn near close.
Man, seems this mod reveals the obvious lazy writing even more
It's a radiant quest dude, the dialogue options are the same no matter where you go, but your misleading comment led 31 people to think the writing is, in fact, lazy. It's hard writing a video game, you should try it sometime mate.
That first part was maybe a wee bit confrontational, but in all seriousness there are some glorious pieces of writing all throughout this game, you just seem to be ignoring or missing them :/

I'm not gonna bash a whole game based on what I've seen, but what I've seen ranges from meh to terribad. There are RPGs with actual good-great writing, I can name a few if you want, but this is not one of them. In fact it's not even an RPG, which kind of excuses the whole thing. I mean who wants to have meaningful conversations with memorable characters when you can just shoot and explode stuff.
The little changes in the Raider bosses' terminal entries are great little bits of narrative, particularly the Tom VS Red one.

There's some good mods. Fapboy puts nudie pics as your pipboy's background. Some make the maps hard to read though.
ZAKU. That's what the freaking thing was called. Thanks, stranger.
there are 5 different versions of suits
T-45, T-50, T-60, and the X-01 (enclave armour) and then raider armour
but you can find like 12 frames to put the armour pieces on, 12 frames with 3-4 out of 6 pieces on it, but you can also pick up defeated enemy armour pieces and stuff
and I heard, that if you manage to sneak up to someone in power armour, you can pickpocket their core (might need some perks in pickpocket) and they get thrown out and you can steal it
so yeah
you only really need the one, but some people like to collect useless junk

Ever breath you take is a mistake as the air should have gone to someone more worthy
dont forget the atom cats garage where you can also buy suit pieces
I'm sorry, what? You can BUY pieces of power armor? Where is this place located, I'm like a leg and an arma way from a full set of X-01
you dont need to pick poket the core. if their back is turned you can shoot the core and theyll be forced out.
Of course! In fact, I don't even think it needs to have a fusion core in it to fast travel home in one. Though there isn't much use for them once you're into the double digits.
Note that you can't reclaim one that an occupant died in. So no looting frames from dead raider bosses or BoS Knights. To steal from them, get the final perk of pickpocketing and snatch the core from their backs, or you can attempt to snipe it, causing the suit to overheat and eject the damaged core, which will then explode like a grenade. I personally don't like this method, as the explosion will do extensive damage to the armor pieces.
