It's not a mod. When crafting, if there is a junk item needed to create something that you don't have, you can select it to be looked out for. If it is in a close proximity and you are looking at it, this will highlight any item that has the needed item in. For example, if you needed copper and you had it selected, fuses and containers with fuses inside would be highlighted.
think it is a mod but i know what it is doing.
when you tag items, like copper, to be found this mod seems to highlight the items in the same
way vats work...
wait, is this that perk, VANS?
true i looked it up,
this must be a mod that highlights crafting mats that you tag in search then.
handy i guess, unless we are all retarded and this is an option in the settings or some other ******** .
how.
how the **** after hundreds of hours is this the first time we have ever seen or heard of this.
i did not get the perk because i had **** tons of mats and i had better perks to get but surely
99% of people do not also skip this.
it just baffles me, nobody has ever mentioned this despite being handy.
I only got the scrapper perk after I "beat" the main quest.
Having invested in all the needed combat skills it was time to scrap all the guns and armour I had acquired and get to building up every settlement I owned properly. I got through just fine before since I was a dirty horder, but when time came to build advanced **** this perk came in handy.
If anyone is thinking of using a sniper barrel on their laser rifle to get max damage, don't.
The sniper barrel needs to charge up fully to get max damage (that's what the little lights do on the barrel, they measure the amount charged). Ever single un-charged shot is weaker than a normal laser shot.
For face-to-face combat, a long or improved long barrel is much better.
Took me way too long to find that out. Why the **** are the lights on the sniper barrel hidden when you add any scope to it? surely you're exepcted to add a scope to a *******sniper rifle, right?
I believe that in that particular building the Sentry Bot is broken, and will break with one shot. The Assaultron, from personal experience seemed a bit nerfed, so focus fire and you should be able to take it out rather quickly. The real thing to watch out for in the room is the Firefighter Protectron and the Construction Protectron. The Firefighter variant will annhilate you if you go up close, and the Construction variant will do the same if you're at a distance. Fortunately, they're both rather slow, so you could probably lure out and kill the Assaultron first before dealing with them.
i grenaded the car just to the left and that took out both protectrons ( well 2 within a few shots each so close enough) the asaulttron was a total asshole though who killed me like 3 times. ******* running up to me stunning me with a hit then insta gibbing me with his bloody laser
The robot is deactivated, on standby. You can sneak into the room to the left and shut down it and the protectrons. You can also plink at its health bar down the hallway.
You can salvage rare components like circuitry, nuclear material, and fiber optics when scrapping weapons and armor. Items with favorited components are highlighted.
