They had no such thing in New Vegas, they just didn't tend to have Fat Mans or Missile Launchers. They chugged dynamite and grenades at their own feet if they could, although most enemies would prefer using melee weapons when you got close.

crispybomb (12/06/2015) [-] Is the radiation gun or whatever any good? I know it's only useful against humans, so is it worth the extra weight just for that one specific use? Also, is the Zeta gun a special variant of it or is it an entirely different gun? They look the same and use the same ammo.

priestofkarp (12/06/2015) [-] They're both completely different and use different ammo. The alien blaster uses ammo specific to only the alien blaster, but can be model to use fusion cells. The radiation gun is a gamma gun that uses gamma rounds

**anonymous rolled image** I never really thought about it, but you can get some pretty crazy sentences from Fallout 4.
The tale of a man, keeping himself and his family immortal by being high on his psychic fathers blood, while his sister is being a bitch and hanging out with some new wave church made to bring back the 50's or whatever.
Or the story of a kid who got locked in a fridge, who needed to be escorted back to his parents... and somewhere along the line some dude wants to put his pecker in the kids poop hole.
Such wonder...

asasqw ONLINE (12/06/2015) [-] The Zeta gun is just a higher energy damage version of the gamma gun. The Lorenzo's Artifact however deals damage, not radiation, but it is still treated as such for resistances. Suppose to be channeling the artifacts power into a kind of psychokinesis gun.

you can actually VATS rockets/mini nukes/grenades out of the sky.......no use if they are already close since it'll still explode but when you can explode it in their faces, kinda feels nice.

I had something like this happen to me. I was wandering the wasteland when I passed a tad close to a raider base without noticing, the raider that spotted me aggro passed along to one in power armor with a mininuke who opened fire on me from outside my line-of-sight...
