I'm minding my own business
looking through buildings, finding junk
glue is needed, keep on looking,
...
...
and find this scene
...
bethesda sure does **** with ya
I found that place the other day too.
Sweet old lady, all alone, reading goodnight stories to toys as stand in's for her grand children,
who where probably already dead at the time.
Yeah, that got to me a little...
Have you found the one where a girl runs away from home because she's pregnant and ends up alone in a cabin the day before the bombs drop? That's a pretty bad one too.
the weird thing is, i've got like 50 - 60 FPS on 1920 x 1080, but the loadtimes are still really long. not sure if i can load less of the world at a time or something.
multitasking on a higher level i see ^^ Yea, i've started to reflect on my life. Thats why i want to reduce that loadtime as much as possible. Them thoughts be scary as ****

Have you ever just wandered around the woodland near Boston and suddenly find a radio tower? You go up to it and activate it and suddenly new radio stations are available. One of them is a distress call from a family trapped in a make shift bunker underneath a scrapyard. The voice on the radio keeps asking for help and that their air supply is getting low since the generator has been powered off and the bunker is air tight. You finally find it, turn on the generator and open the door to the bunker and what do you find? Just two old skeletons cuddling on a mattress........ Or the one where a woman is crying saying she is locked in a safe in a jewelry store when the bombs dropped? Yeah you can image how that one ends.
**** Bethesda, I play fallout 4 to kick ass and ****dogs bitches. Not to have feels :'(
Its the little things like this that hit home, people were leading everyday lives, now frozen in time like a picture. I remember finding a tiny skeleton huddled in a bathroom stall with a teddy bear next to it, just trying to picture that persons final moments gives me the chills.
And what's with all the feral ghouls holding baby rattles and toy cars?
I roamed the outskirts one day, to find an empty cabin,
I go upstairs to find a couple holding hands, lying on the bed, ala Titanic.
No biggie, gotta keep moving,
I hear a distant roar,
then I find a little park with a tree in the middle of the lake
If you know where I am, you have a better memory than me,
so in the park, I find another skeleton just chilling on the bench
This game will consume my life, but I like it.
P.s. found hat for Codsworth, now most british bot in the wasteland ^^
i found a fallout shelter at one of the places, and it talked about how the guys wife was at the hospital when the bombs dropped, but he managed to get his two kids to the shelter and youngest kid kept asking when his mom would come home.
then the holotape in the computer is the youngest kid trying to record a message to his mom while they're rushing to get out of the shelter for some reason. and you hear the kid crying saying he wants his jangles. and you look on the bunk bed and his jangles the space money is laying there.
That was one thing in the game that actually kinda hit me because i felt so sad for the kid who just lost everything, and he had to leave his favorite toy behind, and i know what it's like to be a kid and lose a toy you really care about.
