While he is on the wrong side ofthe country

Is Fallout 4 being made by Bethesda or that ************** Block Rock?

Also, do you think they'll try as hard now that they already have a fanbase and don't have to give a **** to live up to the original?
#22 to #17 - John Cena (06/12/2014) [-]
probobly ruin the lore of fallout more unless its obsidian that makes it.
but if bethesda makes it, it would still be good but would give a **** about the original lore and go its own direction.
User avatar #39 to #22 - amata (06/12/2014) [-]
How exactly did Bethesda ruin the lore, exactly? I love all of the games a great deal and am genuinely curious.
#162 to #39 - John Cena (06/15/2014) [-]
mothershp zeta just implies that aliens were behind the great war. which kind of ruins the war never changes thing thats all. it has some rehashed plot points and just feels like a reboot to the series but at least a good reboot.
#159 to #39 - John Cena (06/14/2014) [-]
dont get me wrong it wasnt bad but it did just have a few things wrong. plus the main quest objectives were just rehashed from fallout 1 and 2. the computer president just a copy of the computer emperor in fallout 2 San Francisco. still a good game
#157 to #39 - John Cena (06/14/2014) [-]
well it wasnt ruined they just shouldnt have done a few things the way they did. good game but it has its bad. this pc covers it if ya can see it.

Jesus, I don't know what's sadder, the fact that the guy who made this decided to make an entire rant because Fallout 3 wasn't 100% perfect and exactly how he wanted it, or the fact that he actually devoted the time to making this picture. I mean **** , guys like these are the same sort of angry losers who throw hissy fits because video games are becoming more popular.
Not to mention the fact that very few of the points he touched on had anything to do with the lore, and the **** he did mention was bass-ackwards and idiotic. The BoS thing, for example. It says in the game that they decided to change their mission, and that the Outcasts left because of that decision. The guy is getting mad over a fully explained plot point.

In my opinion, Fallout 3 was not a perfect game, by any means. However, despite all the bugs, I found it to be very enjoyable and I don't see how the lore was supposedly bent over and assraped.

like i said game is good just a few things i dont totally agree with what he said but yeah . he does make a few good points though. he just a bit upset cause of the different direction taken i guess.

Well they've barely finished The Elder Scrolls Online. 2016 my friend, we wait.

Bethesda didn't create ESO.
User avatar #55 to #46 - nicoquitemad (06/12/2014) [-]
I contacted Bethesda via their general info email about something Fallout related a month ago, and I got replies from the Elder Scrolls Online team.
User avatar #60 to #55 - misfitxcreepx (06/12/2014) [-]
While that is odd. Bethesda Game Studios didn't make ESO.
My understanding, which is likely totally wrong, is that Zenimax Media owns Bethesda Game Studios (developer of TES, fallout 3, etc.), Zenimax Online Studios (the ****** who made ESO), and Bethesda Softworks (the publishing company).
So from what I understand, Zenimax Media created Zenimax Online Studios to develop ESO, which was published by Bethesda Softworks. Bethesda Game Studios had nothing to do with it, leaving them free to work on Fallout 4 or whatever.
Again, this might be a bit wrong, but I do know that BGS did not develop ESO. Maybe that has something to do with why they replied? idk

There have been other games, like Rage and Brink have been developed by other companies but published by Bethesda Softworks. Makes for a lot of confusing and misplaced "Bethesda sucked at making this game" and "Bethesda did great at making this game" haha

3 means there might be a correlation between Metro and Fallout.

I think it sounds cool
User avatar #27 to #1 - xxhadesflamesxx ONLINE (06/12/2014) [-]
nah probably not since there aren't any energy weapons even if they were developed in the US from alien tech it would have spread

The writer of Metro 2033 says that he's a huge fan of Fallout, even basing some of the books on the Fallout world.

I would like to see Metro become the canon for Fallout's Russia (however unlikely)
User avatar #70 to #43 - atomschlumpf (06/12/2014) [-]
But Metro 2033 happens in the year 2033, right? The bombs in the Fallout universe don't fall until ~2070
User avatar #122 to #70 - jmjedi (06/12/2014) [-]
Good point, if it happen it would probably be an easter egg. Like maybe you'd run into Khan or something
User avatar #66 to #1 - jfbyers (06/12/2014) [-]
or maybe they're already in the same universe, waiting to collide with each other
even though fallout takes place in like 2500 and metro is in like 2033-35

That's really a long-shot, bruv. Also considering Fallout happens around 150 years after Metro, not sure how would that work out
User avatar #93 to #68 - ntobarrev (06/12/2014) [-]
In Metro 2033, there's too much radiation to live on the surface. They say in the book that it will take at least 50 years before they can try living up there again. By the time fallout is set in, anything could've happened.

Regarding Dukov, there is a cancelled game called Fallout Extreme, which was supposed to take place, among other places, in China and Russia, so it's safe to say that people survived there. Not sure who was developing it though.

That's it. Vault-Tec was a Chinese company that worked inside the US Government and launched the bombs solely on the United States and now the rest of the world is trying to recolonise the wasteland.

On the mothership zeta DLC you hear a captured American government official being forced to tell the aliens about the white houses defense, then being forced to recite the launch codes. So there is a chance the aliens set off the American's nukes.

BIG MT is actually also known as "The Think tank" which were created with Alien tech. The Robobrains and similar that comes from there is all based on that very same alien technology which is researched and ultimately expanded upon to create the various machines.

I've always had an idea for a fallout game setting. How about a big map with 2 big cities on either end and a giant wasteland in the middle. The cities would be the ruins of Seattle and Vancouver, and the wasteland is the land in between them. You could have like a new Canadian faction trying to do stuff NCR style in Vancouver, and then have Enclave or Bos or whoever in Seattle.

If the Death Ray actually hit, I would be just BARELY outside of the blast Given that the death ray precisely hits 550, including shock radius. Is Shock Radius the right term or is that for nukes? Would it be the same thing?
