Am I the only one who ever wanted a Fallout to take place in New Orleans, Louisiana? Think about it. It's a large, industrial city with swamps all around. I think it would offer a huge variety, even for the Fallout series. (Annnnnnnd I'm from New Orleans)

It would be interesting, but so much of it is buildings that it would just be like constant traps, potential ambushes, etc.
