Actually, I loved the subway tunnels, it made 3 a bit more fun to explore, the main reason I liked Vegas a lot less was because you couldn't just wander off and explore...
(Well, you could, but it was limited...)

I preffered NV gameplay and stuff more, but 3's story was better

I liked the general gameplay of New Vegas(iron sights,survival and reputation) but I enjoyed the scenery more of Fallout 3. I HATED New Vegas's scenery. Oh look more desert. Hey look a town! No wait,nothing there. FUCK FUCK FUCK CAZADORS! .....and now boones dead and I cant find EDE because he decided to go psycho and kill everything.

New Vegas was far too glitchy(and I built my machine to be more than powerful enough to handle FNV but vanilla it runs like absolute shit.) pic related.its a screen I made.

You know what was my FAVORITE part of fallout 3? The fact that one time i was over encumbered with nothing but shit that would sell for an assload of caps(like, well it was a while ago, and i dont remember the cap ratio thing but imagine about 3 or 4 , maybe even 5 times the average good haul) so i had to walk from like, the tree quest area, to the boat place on the bottom right of the map... lets just say, walking through every tunnel and city to get there as fast as possible... is quite annoying. SO DONT EVEN TEEEELL ME! ABOUT THE FUCKING TUNNELS!

the guns felt so shitty in nv. it seemed like the only smart way to play was to use melee weapons. a fallout where i feel like i have to play a specific way isnt a good fallout.
