I don't think there's one DLC for Fallout 3 that I didn't love... They were all just so good. New Vegas' DLC was a bit hard to follow though.

Really? Playing New Vegas complete with DLC is like, in my top five gaming experiences.

I really only liked Old World blues, Honest Hearts was really just meh. I never cared for Cesar's legion or their lore very much Well, Cesar himself was kind of interesting but I rest my case. . Lonesome Road just didn't make any sense to me, I should probably replay it again and do some more research so I'm not saying it's bad I just didn't get it. Dead Money was just terrible, incredibly boring and frustrating. Keep in mind this is just my opinion and that I don't think New Vegas is a bad game, in fact I think it's really good! I just don't think the DLC matched up to the standard of Fallout 3.

That's really interesting to me, because I felt like New Vegas had a more solid DLC experience. Of course, I looked into the lore A LOT, and I watched really carefully for the way everything connected A LOT, so for me the real kicker was seeing how these seemingly un related journeys all came together and solidified the plot in a way that was really impressive.

I guess the real difference is probably just the fact that the lore around New Vegas still fascinates me to this day. That said, Fallout 3 is more fun than a barrel of monkeys in its own right, and when I get around to playing it in its heavily modded form soon, I shall bask in its undying glory.

I see where you're coming from. I'm just more interested in the Vault Tec lore and pre war stuff, the New Vegas tribes and such don't really peak my interest. I hope they can really make a solid combination of what's good in Vegas, and 3 to make a truly epic game that serves the franchise justice.

That's how I'm feeling too. I think I need to really revisit Fo3 so I can better appreciate it, now that I have a more complete understanding of the fallout universe. I mean, they have some phenomenal ingredients to work with right now. The more they can make the past of the universe tie into the present of the game, the better it will be.

Dead money was the worst. Did you like Old World Blues? It was my favorite.

Personally I likes Dead Money, but I haven't finished Old World Blues. It's been pretty fun but it takes so damned long to get through it.
