"Hey Mr. Freeze, why don't you hand over your lunch money unless you wanna end up like that girlfriend of yours?"
"OH SHI-"
This was part of a series of ads for Fallout 3 back in the days when Mirelurks had legs like men (and didn't strike fear into our hearts) and Karma was a thing.
Fo3 was babies first Fallout. Fun,great mods, and meh story. More shooty shooty less character building. Stellar environment. Awful gunplay with guns without a scope. But that Reservists Rifle <3
FNV was a bit better with the hardcore and character building, but really weak for environment. Gunplay didn't change much Ironsights were nice. I never really found a vanilla gun I liked. This Machine was my go to as was the BAR.
I haven't been following it much,I was pretty excited to see it done(Knew it would be buggy, especially after the New Vegas fiasco).
I seen dialogue for the player, and Boston. That was about it.
If you think fo3 was babies first fallout, then you will probably change your mind in fo4. Ok, the enemies are more dangerous now, but its just more fps than rpg, which sadly said, was better in fo3 (which was also not an good rpg)
story is pretty linear in 4 but more areas to explore, new ways to mod guns/armour but its really basic, it has minecraft mode aka settlement building way better gunplay, in not a fps person but i can actually use the guns, improved vats well some will argue that, they removed some aspects the older games had like more choices in dialog and karma though companions now take the karma aspect, not sure what else i could say without spoiling the game
really fallout 4 is the new beginner game, some things in the game could be explained better but the game is much easier then fallout 3 and new players could easily pick it up
its always been worth the money, then again it depends on what you look for in a game i have managed to finish ever side quest in the game and ive only got 120 hour in and prob about 4 hours left of the game, also i could have finished the side quest in maybie 70-80 hours but alot of time was spent building or just ******* around collecting bobbleheads
With Fallout 4 you have the whole building settlements thing and the customization of weapons and armor although there are a lot less weapons than in previous games and there aren't any weapons that reload one bullet at a time like you had in NV.
