A couple of hours ago I just completed Big Trouble in Big Town, and after I returned some Super Mutants attacked and killed the guard, Timebomb(who I just saved), and Shorty somehow fell into the radioactive moat and couldn't get out. Made me feel like that quest was a complete waste of time.

I hated Big Town.
I saved the little fuckers, I repaired their security bots and I gave them all fucking weapons.
I returned a couple days later to see how they got on, they were all dead apart from Red, who was perpetually fleeing with two crippled legs.
