Also Check comments.

Most of you know my feelings for this DLC, it was hard long and not that rewarding, (although containing some bos material). Maybe more for hardcore gamers.

By the way I will upload your so desirable Fallout: Vaults comps next week. Add me as a friend so you won't miss it.

Dead money was amazing if you take the time to understand the characters and stroy.

Characters and story are fine, but that last part with the speakers and holograms is just ******* ******** .
User avatar #35 to #34 - undeaddog (04/04/2014) [-]
Ooh yeah, that room.
Just climb up onto the beams and if you have 100 repair you can disable the holograms.

You know hoe first impressions stick? I was not a fully equipped character, I ran out of guns and ammo pretty quit and i swear to god i died twenty times.
Not to mention I walked out of there with only 2 gold bars.

But my second gameplay, the villa was mine... All mine...
User avatar #4 to #3 - undeaddog (04/03/2014) [-]
Means they did exactly what they were supposed to do.
The villa sweeps away the weak and turns the strong into greedy monsters.

The whole point was to let go, and begin again.

That's some grade A ******** .
Dead Money had the exact air of desolation and danger that NV managed to completely **** up so it could be a spaghetti western. It was spooky and depressing unlike anywhere else in the Mojave. As for rewards, you get a bomb-ass story about pre-war greed in a game that up until that point has been whacking it over pre-war establishments (The NCR is just the old world gov't, the Legion is Rome, The Followers are a bunch of hippies, the BoS cling to the past like a liferaft, House uses his past as practically divine justification for his control of NV) and a bunch of cool characters, including one who probably ****** you're waifu (Christine is top-tier, prove me wrong you can't ). If you're a materialistic asshole did you even pay attention! HAVE YOU LEARNED NOTHING!? You get the best suit of light armor in the game, a sexy as **** pistol, a method of legitimately getting metric ********* of supplies and last but not least ******* GOLD ***** . If you didn't bust your ass trying to get all dem bars out, you're either a better man than I or lazy.
TL; DR Dead Money is good.

I liked all the FO:NV DLC's, though Dead Money was my least favorite.
My order goes Lonesome Road, Old World Blues, Honest Hearts( ************ JOSHUA GRAHAM UP IN THIS BITCH), and finally, Dead Money. I love them all though.
User avatar #29 to #13 - EnergizierAnon (04/04/2014) [-]
which one was old world blues, I'm drawing a blank. maybe i didn't play that one, and now have purpose to replay again...
User avatar #31 to #29 - samxdaxman (04/04/2014) [-]
That was to one at Big Mountain. You had to help some doctors(who are now robots. They're ******* hilarious) find technology to defeat a rogue doctor, Dr. Mobius. It's a great game, and a total contrast to Honest Hearts which was all about tribal living and such. OWB has some of the best FONV characters ever, despite having the fewest interactive ones(save for lonesome road).

I bought the DLC as soon as I knew you could get a .45 Auto. Light in Shining Darkness is my new main weapon.
User avatar #33 to #32 - samxdaxman (04/04/2014) [-]
Light Shining in Darkness is ****** badass.

I really like Dead Money. The one that I find kinda meh, but a good place to gear up, is Honest Hearts.
User avatar #28 - mikhailovych (04/04/2014) [-]
I enjoy the challenge, especially on hardcore
What I really loved was the story, it really showed "You are not a goddamn super soldier, you are an unlucky guy who got mixed up in this **** , same as the rest of us"
User avatar #19 - lamarsmithgot (04/04/2014) [-]
wtf dead money was the ****
#25 - jjholt (04/04/2014) [-]
That's actually my favorite DLC from that game.

Because I jumped into it without reading what would happen and when I was stripped of all my gear it made it so much more fun. Also the characters, story, and location made it all around awesome.
User avatar #27 to #25 - sexyhimself (04/04/2014) [-]
yeah, but is damn hard, yo.
User avatar #37 to #27 - freebrainsforall (04/04/2014) [-]
meh

not unless you're goin in at a ****** level in which case it's yar own dam fault
User avatar #40 to #37 - sexyhimself (04/04/2014) [-]
yeah, I guess. but I think that's what OP meant. like you don't expect to need high level the first time you play it and then it turns into a bad situation and you have to run past enemies and hope to god you won't get killed and then end up being really scared trying to sneak past everything and then cry your self to sleep when you finally get inside the casino and it just get's worse
User avatar #22 - Maroon (04/04/2014) [-]
Is that the one that took you to that hotel or something that was covered in poison gasses and you lost all your equipment and the whole damn thing was a retarded ass maze?
User avatar #26 to #22 - thelizardlord (04/04/2014) [-]
Yes
User avatar #8 - chrisel (04/03/2014) [-]
Didn't the Devil create math with the Greek and Latin Alphabet in it?
#14 - pallypal (04/03/2014) [-]
**** . Dead. Money.

The only reason it's worth is for the stimpack codes. If you dont get those it's entirely pointless.

God damn i hate those ******* collars. Elijah was a retard.
User avatar #41 - electrickwalrus (04/06/2014) [-]
i like this dlc so much i made another account just to play it again
User avatar #38 - freebrainsforall (04/04/2014) [-]
I didn't find dead money difficult at all

I found myself dying 5x more in old world blues then in ******* dead money

I found how they removed all your gear to be interesting and refreshing, forcing you to use actual tactics to kill the enemies (or just avoid them, which is ******* easy to do, you can literally run right past them)

The Holorifle can kill deathclaws in about 4-5 shots. I have no complaints.

honestly, one of the best independent story dlc packs out there. yeah its difficult, annoying, and interesting... but the regret of leaving all the gold behind....you just have to let go . begin again
User avatar #10 to #9 - lewhisperingeye (04/03/2014) [-]
You can get all the gold
#11 to #10 - alertnomad (04/03/2014) [-]
but wheres the fun in glitching? ruins the whole point of the story.
#12 to #11 - cpthavok ONLINE (04/03/2014) [-]
There's no need to glitch. You can get out of there even while over encumbered with all that gold by simply saving a stealthboy having a high enough sneak stat (I did it with 45 sneak). It took me a few tries but i was able to trudge my way out of the vault area with all that gold.

The DLC was annoying as hell but damn if i wasn't going to trap that bastard in the vault and leave him with only a few packs of cigarettes for his trouble.
User avatar #17 to #12 - lewhisperingeye (04/04/2014) [-]
The only real problem was selling all those damn gold bars
#18 to #17 - cpthavok ONLINE (04/04/2014) [-]
I just sold them to the computer in Big Mountain. If i was hurting for caps i'd go there sell a bar and head back to the wasteland. Fast travel to one end of the world and back and repeat. Though it did get obnoxious when you had a high Barter stat.
User avatar #20 to #18 - wasteland (04/04/2014) [-]
