For about an hour I was searching for this woman who had a distress beacon going off talking about she is locked in a safe room in a mall and extremely thirsty and out of water. Fought a **** ton of super mutants, searched top to bottom (it was at the bottom) finally opened it.... she's been dead since the nukes fell, the messege has looped for over 200 years and no one ******* helped her.
I don't believe there's anyone left alive in any location described in the broadcasts labeled Distress Call. They're just there as a pointer to where to find loot.
There is some. I remember some Brotherhood of Steel guy in a bunker( like 3 different distress signals and then hearing tapes) and Im sure theres more.
Those are quest related.
Paladin Dan will give them to you at the Cambridge Police Station
But if you were to wonder in the glowing sea, that's another story
Danse? Damn. I mean, I haven't finished the main story yet, but I assumed there was a synth in the Brotherhood. Had my money on Maxson. No regular human has that many military exploits before their balls drop, no sir-ee-bob...
Normally perhaps, but he's descended from the founder of the Brotherhood of Steel and was brought up amongst Lyons' piece of the organisation. So he has the training, he has the heart to care for humanity and he has generations of badassery behind him. But I agree, he's come a long way from the snot-nosed Squire, crushing on Sarah Lyons.
Those are distress beacons, not distress calls.
The distress beacons you'll hear any time you approach the area, while distress calls you have to activate radio towers in order to receive.
mildly confused, perhaps the description was updated, but it's the top line of the second last paragraph isn't it? ( or stanza or whatever it is actually called)
I still don't know what the unintelligible radio signal in the glowing sea is or where the source for it is, I'm worried its gonna be something really disturbing or painfully hard like 2 legendary deathclaws
Lol I did that yesterday and I already knew she was dead. If you hear the message, she states that the ground was shaking and that she was locked in the safe. Pretty easy to guess. Finding the jewelry section of the damn mall though? **** that mess of a mall... By the way, I'm looking the HAM radio for the girl that is trying to lure humans to the High School and I can't find it. Did anybody find it?
near Oberland station, I think?
the one that's just one station house and some tato plants
and what ******* distress call do you think I mean? the one from the comic
the one about the lady screaming about hiding from something in a train car with her kid, that gets in
