You're dumb. It's indicating a singular photo out of several photos. They removed one photo out of the several photos which he had. If they removed multiple photos it would read "Some of your photos were removed." However, since they only removed one photo it is "One of your photos was removed." Emphasis on ONE. One is singular. Go back to grade school English.
