Well if you take into account the Timmy Turner law, in that 2+2=fish than you'd clearly see the question was not 1+1+1+1+1+1+1+1+1+1+1+ but in fact it is;
fish + fish + fish + 1 x 0 in which case you'd add the fish together to get fish, after you carry the fish but don't forget to multiply by 0.
