I want to play it, but I don't want to pay for it every month. I'm just not into repetitive bills I can avoid. If they had some sort of one time buy thing I would consider it.

you can get your self to a point where you can pay for your account with ingame money with less then 3 months of play time as long you at least try

Do a one time buy for a year, if you play a lot during that year I mean a LOT. You can easily use in game currency after a year to buy plex.

Hm. How much of a computer do I need to play? I'm using a 7 year old laptop. It's it's a Toshiba Satellite.

Not sure, but I've heard people say that you can run in on a brig if you turn of all the fancy effects. Which will make it look like **** , but if you want to play eve you shouldn't care. You should check the internets for the specs though because I'm not sure.

You could probably run it off a toaster, not going to lie. Also you can afford gametime with ingame currency, but it might take a few months to get to that level. I just pay for a month every now and again, chill with my corp, then go back into hibernation whilst i play other games.
