schneidend [OP]ONLINE (12/23/2015) [-] Advanced Dungeons & Dragons is just what the new rule set after 1st Edition was called. Then, AD&D had a 2nd Edition of its own. Then, they later came out with Dungeons & Dragons 3rd Edition, an amended 3.5 Edition, 4th Edition, and finally 5th Edition. All largely similar rules that cater to the tastes of, let's say different styles of players.
