dogs are family and respect your training.
this is an example of good training.
rather despicable that there are people who sleep with their dogs, let them **** on their carpets and let them create a mess indoors rather than having basic discipline
dog is best friend, but you gotta have mutual respect an discipline

depends how you train them to see you as owner or as one of them but alpha
if you are their owner you have defined rules
as one of them these rules are less respected as your dog has more of a personality
but they may challenge you on things. Eg beds/ furniture as you do it and are one of them and they see you more as pack and pack likes too sleep in a big puppy pile
