He knew all the lyrics to devil went down to georgia, and recognized the instrumental version of the song, yet he later claims he had no idea about the song and needed to be handed a lyric sheet for it when he sees Carn-ya again.

Did he just not know the title of the song?

No, no. You see, they are two different songs. The first one he mentions is "Devil went down to Georgia" and the second one is "Devil comes back to Georgia"

He knew the original, but says he didn't know the lyrics to "The Devil Comes Back to Georgia".

I know most of the lyrics to the original, but like this guy, never even knew there was a successor.
