So, this is what happened. My group and I were fighting an undead boss. We were holding out pretty well until one of us got downed. Our healer had this staff of sorts that healed all wounds and curses and **** . He had the decision to either heal our downed party member or send this undead bastard back into the ground. He decided to use it against the undead boss. As you can see, he had a +20 to the roll, so there was no way he could fail unless he rolled a 1. So of course, he failed.

It was honestly quiet hilarious and luckily we were still able to defeat the thing without our party member completely dying.

I've only been a few campaigns so far and I've only completed one because the other few were dropped. I'm now in two other campaigns which I'm enjoying greatly. I definitely enjoy D&D and the stories shared by others. I will thumb every story shared

I had to climb down to the lower part of a mineshaft. There was scaffolding, many ropes hanging as supports, and properly lit. Not only did I roll a natural 1, but I also had a strength modifier of -2, so the result was a -1. I didn't just fail, I epically failed.

A rakshasa rogue in a party was trying to eavesdrop on some slavers, he rolled a 1, tripped and fell out of the bush he was hiding in. He then tried to disguise himself as the nearest stick, rolling another 1 and stabbing himself in the eye. He then tried to pull out his dagger, rolling yet another one, stabbing his other eye.

Luckily for him the party managed to afford ghetto eye surgery only done by the finest Hobbit surgeon in the realm.

Had that happen once, had call shot head with a flintlock pistol which if anything rolled higher then a 8 it's a insta-kill but for some reason the first shot failed then I rerolled with action points and all 3 of them failed so I blamed roll20 naturally because I only roll 1's

I remember last time I play DD with a friend of mine, his dad and his dad's friends. I was a berserker because first time, and we got attacked by this giant-ass monster with long legs (forgot the name).
The dad wanted to kill the NPC in our group with the high level monster (for the plot) but I grabbed Pablo's (NPC) hands and followed him got dragged along.
Ended up grabbing the monster's legs and ripping them off with huge ass rolls.
I love D&D.

I remember playing DnD with my ex-boyfriend. Literally every time he had his character wink at someone, WITHOUT FAIL, he would roll a natural one. This happened 7 times. I've never seen someone roll natural 1's so consistently on demand.

For context, he was rolling charisma checks to "sweeten the deal". We decided his character basically did this each time.
