Lookin' for opinions/criticism.

I'm creating a world for my D&D game, and I've just finished the origin story of the world itself and I am looking for any criticism or opinion from anyone.
The place in time where the players will start is just after the invention and spread of the first calendar on the world, magic is new and unpredictable, and since there is a lack of certain metals, the economy is based on barter instead of coin so far. Bronze, stone, simple iron, and wood weapons are the pinnacle of weapons technology. That stuff is in a different document than this, but if I get enough demand for it, I'll upload it to google docs and link it as well.
I'll also include a picture of the map of the continent of Chioma. I'm going to be using (which was generated using this www-cs-students.stanford.edu/~amitp/game-programming/polygon-map-generation/demo.html )
