Part one /channel/dungeons-n-drags/Journey+to+the+frozen+mountain/GMsRLTZ/
As the valiant heroes entered the Slave plantation the owner walks out to greet them and notices the three slaves he just sent with a slave auctioneer to the trading post he also notices Duncan a slave that was sent to be the slave of a kobold hunting party. The owner falls the players to return the slaves and go back the way they came or die. Our brave heroes decline the owner’s offer and try to start a slave revolt. After many attempts the slaves start to pick up their tools and open up to the idea until a voice roars from out of frame telling the slaves to put down their tools and go inside the plantations shed like holding cells for the slaves. The heroes keep trying to persuade the slave to fight back, just as the heroes attempt this 6 mercenaries hired by the owner to guard the plantation come into sight and one of them kills a slave. Immediately the slaves go inside leaving the party to fend for themselves as the mercenaries converge on the party’s position the plantation owner rushes into his house and locks the door as the players roll for initiative and the battle commences. Right off the bat there of the mercenaries grab Dr. Schultz (our rogue), next our man beast Gunner rushes the door blasting it open and terrifying the slave owner. Razmas tries to climb the building, fails and falls on his ass. Mayo the Cleric pins the main mercenary along with or Goliath Morgar.
The next phase Gunner grabs the slave owner and cuts his hand off….His. ******* .Hand. As that ******* torture is going on Morgar moves next to the door and allows enemies to try and flow into the house but, the way Morgar is situated he is granted an opportunity attack for every single guy that passes him. As Morgar is literally close lining enemies left and right Dr. Schultz finally escapes the grab he was in the main mercenary falls back with two other mercenaries and they take Dr. Schultz hostage. There are two major reasons why this is a bad idea, first they have a 8 foot tall Goliath right in front of them that could charge any minute and send them flying and second they took the one person who nobody cares about hostage. The inevitable happens and Moragar charges the mercenaries and sends Dr. Schultz flying one spot over and our cleric finishes off the last two mercenaries leaving only the main merc and the slave owner. While the battle outside commences Gunner is bringing the now one handed slave owner to the chest in his room after poorly bandaging the man’s stump. When Gunner actually gets the man into the room he tells him to unlock the chest, after a second before the slave owner could even respond Gunner smashes his face against the chest.
this is where we left off part 3 coming next week.
