I'm working on a little adventure site I call the Isle of Mist. A small mystery island filled with magic and old ruins.
I'm working on a little adventure site I call the Isle of Mist. A small mystery island filled with magic and old ruins.
The idea is for the players to have some magic support powers. Powers that are useful, but not directly damaging. I have a few but I would like some more if anyone has any good suggestions.
Here are mine
Hunter:
They have an eye for details and can track creatures through normal means or by picking up on traces of their aura left behind. This is made easier if they find something connected to that creature, like hair or a treasured object.
Caller:
Can establish a link with another person through touch. The linked people can send thoughts back and forth to communicate. More experienced telepaths can make "group calls". Telepathy can't penetrate too much matter (sheets of lead or thick concrete walls), and the distance is limited.
Climber:
Can easily spot handholds on walls or trees and they have increased balance. They climb faster than most, and the more experienced ones are almost like spiders, sticking to walls and even ceilings.
Smoker:
Can make harmless smoke appear around themselves or make glass fog over. The more experienced ones can make cameras and sensors malfunction, and they can change the colour of the smoke.
Amphibian:
Can breathe underwater, and moves faster in water. They eventually learn how to extend this ability to others in the vicinity.
Seer:
They have darkvision and can "zoom" with their eyes. They can project their senses of sight and hearing to another point in space they can see, and use those senses as though standing there.
Chameleon:
They have a limited ability to go unnoticed / blend into their surroundings. They are also unnaturaly silent.
Leaper:
They can jump much higher and further than an ordinary human. They always land on their feet, and can survive falls from higher places.
Walker:
They have the ability to walk on any surface without breaking through, be it water, snow or a pitfall trap.
Mimic:
Can mimic any sound or voice they have heard before, and mannerism and writing, too if they observe the one they intend to mimic for a while.
