DnD Rekt
Story from our Wednesday campaign. We have two different campaigns, one on Tuesday & one on Wednesday.
>Last week DnD session
>Person of high importance in a cult we are fighting offers a truce so we can go kill someone higher up in the cult for them
>Everyone except the Paladin & NPC Cleric are up for taking the help because they are super good & can't align with the evil cult
>Paladin & Cleric fight all the cult members in the room while the rest of the party sits out & watches
>Rogue tries to help in the fight, but gets knocked down & is pulled out by the group's Fighter
>Party lets Paladin & Cleric die while getting the cult's aid
>Paladin makes a socially awkward Druid to join us
>Fast forward to following week's session
>Get caught by higher up cultist that we need to kill & asked what we are doing
>Fighter tells a half truth & mentions other cult member that sent us
>Person playing Druid speaks out of character saying if his Paladin was alive he would not have mentioned the other cultist
>Fighter player mentions back that his always truthful Paladin would have told the truth as the Fighter did
>DM's reaction when the dead Paladin got told
If you guys like this, I could be up for telling more stories from either campaign. There are better stories, but this one being so recent & getting the most reaction out of our DM made me feel like posting it. I could even make a mention list.
