Ah yes phylactery lich, just got him about a week ago for my zombie deck. Was listening to this when I found this post

I like giving him Worldslayer.

My deck is just low drop zombies, into Zombie lords, then Grey Merchant to finish.
Every single creature is a zombie, Then I have 4 Demon Horns, A Obelisk of Urd, a Hall of Triumph, and a Door of Destinies. Play zombies, little zombies turn into big zombies, hit them in the face, win.

Look into adding a Grimoire of the Dead. They go great in so many different decks, it's ridiculous.
Mine functions around getting enough land to drop the Lich with Darksteel relics, axes, or spires to use as phylacteries. Then, get a brass squire out and an enchant to gtive the lich Intimidate, or a Kitesail. Then, drop Worldslayer, tap brass squire to equip it to the lich for free. Swing at someone's face, destroy all their lands and other destructible permanents. Then you'll have a chunky indestructible lich waving a Worldslayer around, un-threatened.

That Grimoire though, that could do some things with my deck, 4 Grave Robbers, 4 Gray Merchants, A Risen Executioner, then fodder zombies. Also an Endless Ranks of the Dead.

Zombie Apocalypse is mega fun in zombie decks, but it only really works on Humans. Could be risky adding it if you fight a lot of elves or angels, goblins or demons. Or Vampires/other zombies,
