An interesting thing to note is that Illithids can produce more of their own kind from more than just humans and elves.

thereisaguy [OP](01/10/2016) [-] YEP! They put in a little baby squid in their noggin and they turn although if I'm not mistaken the descendants from non-humans are often treated as inferior and even used as slaves.
