By the way if anyone is looking for a very specific look for something let me know and I'll see what I have/can find to help with that.
A woman, ideally blonde and wearing glasses
in a long armoured trenchcoat. like a trenchcoat with shoulderplates and a breastplate under it, and/or armour plates anywhere.
I can take a look around. It's pretty specific, if you could provide picture references the drawthread on /tg/ might pick it up. Still going to try my best though.
Nah, I've got enough stuff to keep my going. Going to start brushing up my skills and dusting off my pad and doodling up some, maybe run/join a game of FJrs and illustrate it too.
If you ever want some character ideas, I've got a ******** of different races I could tell you. Some of which are not an obvious combination - like my dragonborn rogue.
Thank you for the offer but I have about 20 word documents saved up with full backgrounds and character sheets as well as a bunch of notes and loose ideas inspired by something I saw.
For example this guy, never played a bard and this got me thinking about it because the art has so much personality.
You got any more similar to this? Regal looking robes, clothes, or armor rather than barbaric half naked or, because I know it's you I am talking about, naked completely naked? I like the idea behind a high-society firebreather.
Most of these are inspired by the Dragonborn race from Dungeons & Dragons, Some are from officially licensed products while I assume the rest are fan-made.
can you do something like spearmen or guardsman? would be much appreciated. i mean you got main character art but not grunt art. is that a weird thing to ask?
I always wondered if there was nay half orc/half dragon stuff laying around somewhere.
Because, honestly, that combination sounds pretty ******* awesome.
Probably, the Draconomicon for 3.5 has an example red dragon/orc character. The dragon traits are usually dominant and all you get is a particularly angry and bulky half-dragon.
Dragonborn are a bit different (at least in 3.5) where it's a blessing that transforms the appearance but still uses the same "frame" of the person transformed after the ritual.
I honestly really dislike the fact that dragonborn is a basic race. They do not fit into that many settings and I often feel that they are sohorend in.
