The Eldrazi aren't exactly aliens. They are far far worse. Generally when Imagining aliens, people think of something strange sentient beings from another planet in our universe. Eldrazi are from outside the universe. They go from universe to universe, devouring them until nothing is left, then move on to the next one. While a few of them appear to be humanoid, they still tend to have very inhuman features. One of the usual variations is the scond arm branching off at the elbows.

The Eldrazi are ****** terrifying as a concept. Like seeing cards like Touch Of The Void where you see a guy's arm turning to dust and he's just in so much ****** pain

Sorry i'm being such an ass, but they do leave dust, and the have been proven to leave a plane before its destroyed, aka there is only Ulamog in Zendikar atm... (there are threoys about Kozilek being underground or coming back buy this card and other cards tho)

Well if you read the currently released lore of Oath to Gatewatch, then it confirms that Kozilek was indeed underground this whole time. He's back as the great distortion.

All of Kozilek's brood were either pictured underground or had some reference to tunneling, digging etc. I think it was implied, it just needed to be set in stone by canonical lore.

They are aliens as defined by what an alien lifeform is, as in something not native to it's current environment, like invasive alien species such as kudzu or mexicans. The eldrazi are native to blind eternities, the space between planes which is similar in concept to where the old gods live in lovecraftian lore. They are seen as alien, though not in the traditional little grey men sense.

The entire concept of Eldrazi was shamelessly and irrefutably based on Lovecraft

Well they're just extraplanar and outerspace aliens if they came here to to just about any setting right?
