hierophant (12/20/2015) [-] I think d&dexplain has a couple of posts explaining the basics of D&D. I suggest looking at those, since they are a decent starting point. Then, try and find a patient DM who would be willing to help guide you.

hierophant (12/20/2015) [-] It can be something light though. You don't need to know everything about everything. Knowing enough about combat rolls, skills checks, feats, and character creation can pretty much coast you through for the most part, with a helpful DM.
