Here's the last of what we got...Thanks for your interest everyone. We currently do not have any intention of continuing this comic, for better or for worse. I might upload some content sometime maybe talking about some abandoned plotlines we had. We actually have sketches for maybe a couple dozen more pages, but...

Eh, I'm not really feeling it this week. I'll talk to you guys some other time. I have been disappointed allot this week.

Mentions List.

fataliteehee, ompalomper, knightmoiden, rocketelbow, sirgawain, axxein, xelagnik, shadowknife, lathyrusvii (just because)

We had a bunch of abandoned plotline ideas...We wanted to explore the guild more, Get some other character in, I had some fun ideas for a wizard called Rhukay and his rivalry with a demon priestess.

Ah well. If you guys are interested, I can always maybe upload a "abandoned plans for the comic" content after all this is over. I think we will have 1 more post after this one of the last couple pages we had.

Oh man, some of this drawing is atrocious. e__e Kilt staring up at that green guy, about the middle of the comic? Wait, here, I linked it.

This one? Kilt's head is smooshed, bad.

I still hope he dies. Just somehow. I have very little reason to hate him so much, but I do.

How long has the artist been drawing? This looks like stuff my friend was drawing when we were in our teens. She got better, and I have hopes for this artist as well... simply observing the detail and making a guess. I do like the attempts at shading, and detail in the clothes.

... Maybe it's that my friend used me as a constant source of critique for her, that I offer advice unsolicited, but take it or leave it as you will.

... ... I still want Kilt to die.

latest print (she actually says she doesn't like this one too much because of weird ass proportions.)

Although it's currently our best selling print. Hetalia dorks will buy anything....

I've been looking forward to your comments over the last couple days. Yeah, it's been over 6 years. This is when we were in high school. Sec, lemme find you some current stuff of hers.
User avatar #6 to #3 - lathyrusvii (12/15/2015) [-]
Well, I'm glad you're getting a kick out of it. It's not fun unless it's funny.

The current stuff looks better. It's nice to see improvement, and I hope she keeps working at it.

I like artists; I can't do the stuff they do. Not as well, anyway.

I am by no means very good, but I get by. ;) I quickly realized my 'style' would never compete with the high quality work alot of other artists put out and I discovered a latent knack for sewing late in life, so I do more of that than drawing now.

I don't think I'll ever really stop either though. Too much fun.
User avatar #15 to #11 - lathyrusvii (12/15/2015) [-]
:3 Oh, so you're the artist? Heh, hiya.

Sewing? Kick ass; have you quilted much?
#18 to #15 - alainap (12/15/2015) [-]
Hello. I'm generally a lurker.

Quilting is an entirely different beast that is daunting to me, mostly because it will eat up all the time for my other projects. I do Pokemon plushies mainly! And the jellyfish....lots...and lots of jellyfish. Most of the Jellies were an original plush before I ever stuck one to a cartoony drawing.
User avatar #20 to #18 - lathyrusvii (12/15/2015) [-]
I might have seen them elsewhere, then. Lurking is neat. :3 Gotta observe, right?

And yeah, quilting is a monster... I've seen it done a few times, and it seems to take at least a month for one.

Pokemon plushies kick buns. :3 I can't sew worth a damn. Last time I tried to fix my pants they came out looking... less than stellar.
#22 to #20 - alainap (12/15/2015) [-]
Definitely. <3 I never seem to have time to participate. XD

I have another plusher friend who just tackled a DBZ themed quilt. (You meet people once you start getting into those kind of communities I find.) I think she's crazy. >.>

It takes some getting used to. I just made a Paras that looks totally boss but I still can't figure a decent Litwick pattern and I really wanna start making those regularly...
User avatar #25 to #22 - lathyrusvii (12/15/2015) [-]
Man, I can barely wrap my head around that. I know people like plushies, though, so I'm sure they'll sell. But to actually design the cut and stuff? Whew.

How many can you make a day? I couldn't imagine sitting there sewing all day can be that fun, can it?
#28 to #25 - alainap (12/15/2015) [-]
Uhh as in how many can I finish in a day? Umm...I dunno...I usually spend a day cutting out parts, another day doing all the applique under the machine, and then I handsew when I need a break to watch TV or when I'm stuck with the little one by myself. It also depends on how many large projects I have versus smaller ones. I do some in batches of ten at a time, and there are a couple of plus size Pokemon I make (like 8ft Milotics and my 1/2 scale Sharpedo). So....it just depends on what I'm working on? I hardly ever sit down and just focus on one project anymore, I'm generally surrounded by all kinds of different parts in all stages of 'put togetherness' . XD But I also have to break sometimes to get some digital art done, I'm working with another artist to do all the spritework for our game, I sell stickers and buttons as well, and sometimes when the mood strikes me I'll sketch up a comic page or two or a new prints. I do about 50% original work versus fanart when it comes to drawing up prints, and I the best ones always come out when my mood is right, because the artistic part of the brain is funny that way, so I always make sure to switch to digital when the mood strikes.

As for sewing being fun, I would not do it the way I do if I didn't love it. Though much of the excitement does come from seeing the finished project come to life after piecing it together in my head. :3
User avatar #31 to #28 - lathyrusvii (12/15/2015) [-]
Oh wow. :3 Yeah, pretty much why I like artists, all summed up in what you said.

It's fun to simply hear about the process, though I do know the feeling of appreciating a final product. And, amusingly enough, I know about the need to switch gears from one project to another when the mood strikes.

It sounds nice.

I do my best with it.

I'm just a stay at home mom with a side job really. But I'm trying to turn it into something I can really make a career out of. Though, my husband is far better at marketing and connections and....managing the actual business part. I just make things he can sell, really. XD

We're actually building a mobile game right now. We're launching a Kickstarter this july for it. Little Kuriboh and Team Four Star are doing some voice work for us and we got some big named let's players agreeing to play the demo. Would you be so kind as to sign up for our mailing list on our website?

We're actually holding a twitter contest for free stuff too
User avatar #8 to #7 - lathyrusvii (12/15/2015) [-]
:3 I'm not that kind, but Team Four Star? That's... I like those guys. I'll try to keep an eye open for it.
User avatar #10 to #9 - lathyrusvii (12/15/2015) [-]
Why do these jellies look familiar? ... I know I've seen these bastards before.
User avatar #12 to #10 - warlordstuart [OP](12/15/2015) [-]
do you do any conventions in the great lakes/ohio area?
User avatar #13 to #12 - lathyrusvii (12/15/2015) [-]
Not even a little. I am super poor.
User avatar #14 to #13 - warlordstuart [OP](12/15/2015) [-]
I did do a funnyjunk post on the game once. Maybe you saw that? I've been trying to start a trend on social media, but I've had no luck with getting anyone to pay attention to our stuff.
User avatar #16 to #14 - lathyrusvii (12/15/2015) [-]
Yeah, trying to get attention for anything is horrendous. I can't get my writing off the ground worth a damn.
User avatar #17 to #16 - warlordstuart [OP](12/15/2015) [-]
It's very disappointed because I know our idea is solid enough to sell. It is essentially a mobile game version of amiibo >.>
User avatar #19 to #17 - lathyrusvii (12/15/2015) [-]
Amiibo? How do you mean?
#21 to #19 - warlordstuart [OP](12/15/2015) [-]
buy Jellyfish plush
unlock that character in jelly realms via code
Have digital copy of character along with plush
User avatar #23 to #21 - lathyrusvii (12/15/2015) [-]
Oh! Hey, whoop ass! That does sound solid. Maybe after a few letsplay people touch it, it'll get a boost in sales.
User avatar #24 to #23 - warlordstuart [OP](12/15/2015) [-]
that's what I'm hoping. We think we got A BIG ONE....however, my contact has been VERY unreliable. I have exchanged emails with an "agent" of this big one....but haven't heard from them in a while....

I'm becoming very discouraged. Also, Team Four Star is kinda dragging their feet on us too.../sigh then again, everyone agreed to help us for free and I really can't complain too much....
User avatar #26 to #24 - lathyrusvii (12/15/2015) [-]
Oh well. Deals are hard to negotiate. Maybe you can get a bit more prestige and try again, if it comes to it.
User avatar #27 to #26 - warlordstuart [OP](12/15/2015) [-]
maybe >.> I have Little Kuribohs number and he has been very willing to communicate via text message but his depression is starting to put us behind schedule. He is also very fickle about working with others, one of the reasons he never fully joined Team Four Star....
User avatar #29 to #27 - lathyrusvii (12/15/2015) [-]
>> I have no idea who that is, precisely. But you say he's not a full-fledged member of TFS? I dunno, man... it seems like shaky ground.

I'd try to either push forward a bit harder, or refocus your effort elsewhere. Right now, it seems like it'll be stuck in the mud soon, and that won't help either of you.
User avatar #30 to #29 - warlordstuart [OP](12/15/2015) [-]
Kickstarter is in July so I'm not in a super rush. I just want to get as much done as possible as early as possible.

Little Kuriboh is the original abridging guy. He made Yugioh Abridged and inspired Team Four Star to do what they do. He's been on hard times lately. If you go to TFS's website they have a section where they host his videos.
User avatar #33 to #30 - lathyrusvii (12/15/2015) [-]
Huh. :3 Ah well, the only abridged series I pay time to is Hellsing and DBZ.

But knowing someone like that should give some amount of leverage, I imagine. I hope it works well for the two of you, then, and whoever else is working with you.

It sounds neat. If I had a job of my own, I might throw something your way, but as it stands... I got a lot of things to catch up on.
User avatar #34 to #2 - warlordstuart [OP](12/15/2015) [-]
Had to go back to the old thread, too many purple lines apparently.

In reality, you can help us just by following us on twitter, liking us on facebook, and signing up for our mailing list. We're launching a demo in july and we're going to monetize it with adverts and stuff.

There are lots of free ways to support us ^-^
User avatar #35 to #34 - lathyrusvii (12/15/2015) [-]
There. > I did the Twitter. I'd go for the other two, but that I am ridiculously private.

So, maybe I'll see you guys in the future. For now, I'm gonna enjoy my wine for the night and celebrate fixing this freaking computer I finally got a handle on.
User avatar #36 to #35 - warlordstuart [OP](12/15/2015) [-]
lol cheers mate. Thanks a million. I'll contact you more when we start announcing new stuff.
User avatar #37 to #36 - lathyrusvii (12/15/2015) [-]
Heck yeah. And tell me when Kilt dies. >:| He must pay for... something. He's a paladin type, yeah?

He doesn't agree with my necromantic ways. It's intrinsic.
User avatar #38 to #37 - warlordstuart [OP](12/15/2015) [-]
I'm actually uploading a D&D story right now where I talk about the time I basically played an evil warlock in a campaign, you might enjoy it. Sec
