The hooded guy is Arc Warden, sadly no Pit Lord.

Bunch of new items, some of which are making this game more like league of legends. There's an item that boosts spell damage, a jungling item that nukes neutrals well, and also Octarine from a few patches back which gives you CDR and spell vamp.

Sniper with the dragon lance is going to be even more ridiculous, he'd have a total of 1080 ******* range.

Yeah, good thing Huskar got nerfed to **** or else he would dominate even harder with that item. I have also heard that the map is even more dire sided now, you can pull dire off lane apparently. You can pull Dire and radiance mid, although all these complaints could simply be people don't understand how the new map works just yet. I hope valve hasn't pulled R8 with this patch.

Huskar got ******* HARD countered by Lina and QoP though, pure damage wrecked his ass. Worse, those 2 pierced BKB, so there was no way to counter it as Huskar. Now he's **** , his magic resist at most is about equal to AM. He'd dominate if you picked badly.

What's R8?

The revolver in cs:go that did as much damage as the awp, the most powerful weapon in the game. It was super cheap and gave you a decent amount of money for killing someone with it. It was pretty silly but it has since been nerfed.

I'm bothered that Pit Lord wasn't released, but...

Yeah, the new items are bad. All four of 'em are way too League of Legends for my taste and the new rune is the same way. We really don't need, or even want, cooldown reduction or range increases. We already had 'nuff of that with the Core alone.

Hopefully they'll get reworked or just out right removed, but I'm not holding my breath. Icefrog and Valve are both pretty stubborn even with negative choices.

WC3 Dota couldn't put most of the LoL's stats like spell vamp or CDR due to the WC3 Engine. We should not be so proud to admit that LoL has not done many things right for MOBAs- several MOBAs have used the ability power stats LoL has.

That being said, Riot's parent company is a huge asswipe, they once tried to slander Valve in China by claiming Dota 2 would cost $100. They should not be imitated in any way.

What works in one doesn't work in others. Ability power stats would ruin Dota outright, it has a different set of rules to achieve balance based around static spell damages, I agree that the new items are kind of bad. They will quickly become items that are picked up in most every game because the value for money is grossly over the top.

They turned Pudge into a pure damage turret with this patch.

Aghs + Aether Lens is a 513 damage pure damage hook with a 4 second cooldown with a 1500 range or so. It's scary.

But the worst/best change is Sand King's new Aghs. Puts the Finale passive on any hero you hit with Burrow Strike and it raises the Burrow strike range to, like, as long as a blink dagger. That's the best part.

The damage on the Finale is way too low for the explosion, though. It's only worth it against illusion enemies early on like PL or Chaos Knight. It evaporates teams with an ult and a burrow strike onto a bunch of illusions... But it falls off really hard. Mostly because the clones become really hard to kill.

I think they could fix it by making the explosion do full damage instead of half when time runs out on heroes. But maybe that'd be too strong? I mean, it's just 220 damage... Meh?

Bristle's lore had him get defeated by Tusk, his only loss so he wants to pay Tusk back.
